ENTER2011, chaired by Lorenzo is approaching. This year we presented three researches that have been successfully accepted! Here the titles and the authors…final revisions, to accommodate reviewers comments, are due to next November 7th.
Hotel Website and Booking Engine: a difficult relationship, investigates the relationship among hotel’s corporate website and booking engine: there is not a direct correlation between the time spent on the hotel website and the actual booking. Written together with Lorenzo, Marco and Vittoria.
Harvesting Online Contents: an Analysis of Hotel Reviews Websites, investigates and compares the reviews of Swiss Hotels on two big OTA. Written together with Lorenzo, Elena, Davide and Francesco.
When a magazine goes online. A case study in the tourism field, investigates more than 300 online tourism newspapers analyzing contents and functionalities and the change in business models. Written together with Lorenzo and Giulio.
In addition, two other papers from our group have been accepted by Lorenzo, Silvia and Sara; the contribution of Ticino Info and Ticino Turismo guys has been accepted as well…more news to come?
So the Ticino Region will be well represented in the most important conference on IT in travel in tourism 🙂
